With the new release of [bd] Push Notification add-on, XFROCKS.COM now allows you to push alerts to an Android, iOS, Google Chrome, Firefox, Windows device nearby (such a mouthful). To do this, head to this page and click "Associate with Pushbullet" to start the process. You will be able to select which device to receive the push (or all devices!). And just like our Pushover integration, you can still choose to disable some alerts as needed.

I have used the Pushbullet app for Android for sometimes now and it is awesome. It even lets you reply to your text messages from the computer. Currently, their server is completely free for now but I can see they will be able to charge for some premium service in the near future. They are backed by many experienced investor, notably Y Combinator with undisclosed funding. Let's see where this is going :)

Hey xfrocks, I'm starting to consider to use your pushover+pushbullet addon now. My questions, before I buy, how can I test it? Not testing by downloading it.

I had pushbullet in my phone and I want to see how it works in this site, like "Hey I got notification from xfrocks.com inside my pushbullet!"

xfrocks @Omar Bazavilvazo I would recommend PushBullet because members won't have to pay themselves.

I would post this in your push addon thread but apparently you need to buy it before you can ask a question about it. Is there any daily limits with pushbullet? I was trying to look through their site and their subreddit and haven't seen any mention of it. Really interested in installing it on my site.

xfrocks @AzzidReign I believe I have read somewhere about their limit. They do impose some limit to prevent spam but if you hit the limit, you can contact their support to have it raised for your application IIRC.

Is this still working well for you guys?

Also, can someone explain what each of these mean? Some seem a bit vague.

    api ping?
    System alert?
    Post?
    Thread?
    User?

Do you have any library or sdk for android & ios? We are developing application where we want to get notification of post reply, follow, unfollow etc on our mobile app.
