We moved all the data to S3 manually using AWS cli and now activated this plugin but we found out that this plugin require some extra meta info about each attachment file.

Can you please let us know what's the best possible solution for us to move our existing data to S3 that this plugin accepts? Using Move Attachments option in rebuild tool not sounds like a great idea for us so far.

You can use the update storage options if you are sure all the files are moved manually. I would suggest against that though because XenForo stores attachment differently (e.g incorrect file name).

How we can place files correctly on S3? We just moved the folders manually on S3, does this make a difference?

Can you please suggest the best way or workaround to get this problem solved?

So after doing further investigation on this case, we found that we must have to convert the files before we can use the plugin properly so we have to process everything through that cache rebuiling process.

Now my question is, how we can run that process using a php cli so we don't have browser's bottleneck for transferring this data.

Yes, that is correct. You have to run the rebuild tool come with the add-on to migrate the files.
Regarding cli, we do have a solution for that but it's under beta. It has been tested with a few medium sites and ran without issue. If you are interested in using it, we can send you the beta version privately.
