New version has been released. Please update and try again, there has been a few changes to XFMG widgets.
This bug is still there and prevents XFMG widgets from loading on my homepage. It has been 3 months. Could you please look into this?
Unfortunately after installing the new version it doesn't work. I did the following: I added a new media block to a tabbed group. The media block should only show content from specific XFMG categories. (which do have content) When saving the widget I encountered this bug: The server responded with an error. The error message is in the JavaScript console. Then after deactivating the Layout editor, and clickign the tab; the widget kept loading without showing content.
When I do not add it to a group then it shows content from all categories, even though it should only display content from selected categories. When I add it to a group, in the first position then it loads. When I add it to a group in any other position then it keeps loading without displaying content.
Beta 14 has just been released, it should fix your issue with tabs. However, I still cannot reproduce the issue with showing media from all categories... It seems to pick the right media on my server. Can you double check that one?
Thanks! Yes, it works now. I needed to delete the old widget first. The issue with selected categories also works. There now is an empty space below the thumbs. Could you look into this?
xfrocks @alfa1 You meant it's fixed? Or it still works/happens? Regarding the empty space, screenshot please? Also, if you are using it in a tab group, the XFMG template (from the XFMG add-on) does not work well so I have to adjust the styling via CSS a little bit. If your style has some special treatment, it may need further customisation in EXTRA.css
I have marked this issue fixed and move the empty space issue discussion here https://xfrocks.com/widget-framework/threads/superfluous-space-under-various-widgets.502/ Resolved - Superfluous space under various widgets The XFRM widget leaves superfluous vertical space under the entries. No matter how many entries you display there will always be superfluous space... xfrocks.com
