ok i got it to work the only annoying part is after we associate our links..it still says in external link that accounts are not associated...although it is and it works lol any reason for that @xfrocks ? hopefully you can fix it in an update
Installed and working great. Can you add a option to disable either of the two? Like only show Pushbullet or Pushover.
I'm still unable to get set-up and it's been 24-hours. My forum installation is at root, should my settings be any different due to this? Dave @RustyDogma Same problem here. Everything set up correcting, but just sticks on the rotation approving screen. Any luck sorting this since you posted yesterday? @xfrocks - any help on this?
Problem solved, I got in touch with pushbullet and they solved it! Anyone else that cant get past the animated approving screen 1) Make sure you have the http:// 2) Make sure everything is in lowercase.
RustyDogma @Dave Hmm.. I have all of that.. so really not sure what's going on.. could you tell me if you used trailing back-slashes? i.e. is your set-up http://www.example.com or http://www.example.com/ ? Example Domain example.com
Dave @RustyDogma I didnt use any back-slashes. Are you getting the stuck on the animated approving screen? How long ago did you create the pushbullet API?
RustyDogma @Dave I created it last week - and yes.. I'm just stuck at the authorization screen... little wheel perpetually turning.
Dave @RustyDogma Hmm, strange. Might be worth getting in touch with pushbullet like I did. One of the developers actually came onto my site using a test login and could work out what the issue was. One last thing, might sound stupid but have you got the full client ID and secret code? I know on my pushbullet screen it was difficult to see the full code due to the dodgy layout.
I have installed the push notification add on to my forum. after the install I go to Admin CP>Options, but there is no options for the add on? Am I missing something? UPDATE: Found it using the search tool
OK. I have it all setup but I have been getting stuck at the approval screen after 12 hours. How do you get in touch with pushbullet?
xfrocks @bgandy Which approval screen? After creating from Pushbullet, just enter the info into XenForo option page and you are good to go.
bgandy @xfrocks That is already done. It happens when you login to your profile and click on the button to associate your account with pushbullet. It redirects to the pushbullet website and you click on allow. Then it just stays there.
xfrocks @bgandy Ah, people tend to have to wait 24 hours for that to work. Have you tried again? If it still happens, please send me your site info via conversation. Pushbullet does report error in the browser console, I may be able to figure out something.

Been getting same error as well. After filling in everything and going into user profile to asscociate with external account. The spinning icon sits there for approval. I've let it go for about an hour one night and no change. This was all set up about Monday this week.
xfrocks @Collapsible Myth I have resolved @bgandy issue and it turned out to be pretty simple. Just make sure your application in Pushbullet is configured correctly: The uri must have http:// while the allowed origin must be domain only The redirect_uri must match your board url (in XenForo AdminCP > Options > Basic Board Information). For example, if your board url is http://domain.com/xenforo, then the redirect uri must be http://domain.com/xenforo/register/pushbullet. If you don't use friendly url, it will be http://domain.com/xenforo/index.php?register/pushbullet

Took a bit of messing around, but as other users said you need to have HTTP only. Here's my settings for PB: http://domain-name.com/ is the direct link to XenForo in my situation.

I'm not able to get this working with Pushbullet. We're forcing SSL on our website (somehow Xenforo won't work with HTTP and HTTPS at the same time), and if I just input the HTTP url for redirect_uri, it says that the redirect uri is incorrect once you try to associate the account. Oh, and if I use HTTPS for Pushbullet, the user is able to associate, but Pushbullet doesn't push anything. EDIT: My bad. Somehow I can receive them on my PC, but not on my OnePlus One, running Android. Anyone knows if I have to enable something? EDIT: Seems like removing the device from the list and reinstalling fixed it...
Got push bullet working thanks to the troubleshooting above would be handy if that info was in the readme. Trying to control the flow of notifications though. These are really unclear descriptions, some are really ambiguous. I wan't to disable notifications for post likes, but not post replies. Is this possible? Looking at the options below: Post? Is that post like? Post reply? Disabling this seems to disable both for me. Profile Post what? Profile post like? Thread? Thread what? reply? User what? The album, comment, photo, video ones I imagine are from Sonnb's XenGallery, are these special types of actions with associated notifications in any add on that get added? Like the event_occurs? I'm guessing that's from XenAttendo.
Is it possible to get a fully comprehensive list of which notifications are pushed to Push Bullet like this list from /account/alert-preferences? IIRC PushOver gives this kind of granularity, but I've not used it for a while. xfrocks @Tealk That's expected, you should test from within XenForo (in External Accounts page). Regarding the bot, I'm not sure how it is related to push notification?
Question on install for 1.5 - are you supposed to enter keys for both pushbullet and pushover or are you supposed to choose one or the other? Is one better than the other?
