[bd] Social Share [Paid] 2.3.0

When I try to staff share I get an error that the url is not supported. I have checked my permissions but please advise.

Good to see back on the game.... Here's a suggestion to make addon this more awesome.... Can you insert a "Share" tab next to the "Report" tab of the posts... so that when users click on it FB and Twitter (or others) can be shared... I believe the best thing that's left to make this add on truly social is the sharing capability.. in a more intuitive manner..

I know we can always click on post# and get it done through the default addthis plugin... but seriously... how many people use that? ... the Share button has got to be placed more intuitively..

[edit} can you let me have permission for the staff share... just to see what it is like.. you can remove it later

 

You know... depending on the staff for sharing posts works only in big boards.... small board owners don't have many active staffs.. plus the location of the share tab plays an important role in triggering user action... for normal users.. it is much better to place them in front of their eyes..

The default share button location of social icons at the bottom of the threads is a disaster imo... I bet once they are placed onto every posts the sharing capcity will increase manifold.... needless to mention Facebook has made it habitual for sharing....

I'd be really glad if you could consider my suggestion....

Okay. I have a Facebook page setup for my forum. How I can get my posts to update that page, and not my personal Facebook?

 

The install went fine. Everything seems to be up and working, but it won't post to Facebook.... Thoughts?

 

what a superb addon this is! Very Impressed with the post to facebook pulling an image and posting it as a proper card! Very cool!
