I see that your addon bd Alerts groups events together. This is excellent. The same functionality would be great to have for the newsfeed. Currently the same thread can cause a large number of items in newsfeed. Especially on big boards. As you have already created this functionality for Alerts, please consider to create it for the newsfeed as well.
Normally it will create a news feed item for each post in the thread. You meant you want to merge them into 1 item?
