[bd] Widget Framework for XenForo 1.4.0 (pre-release)

    Because so many people asked, this is the early release of the new version of [bd] Widget Framework add-on. This version includes many minor improvements since v2.5.0d released at xenforo.com. Most importantly, it has support for XenForo 1.4.0 RC1 (improved poll renderer + new profile posts renderer amongst other things). Use it with your own risk!

    • added new options for Birthday renderer: whitelist_user_groups, blacklist_user_groups
    • updated Threads renderer to include new latest_replies type
    • updated render routine to work better with hook positions (which can occur many time for a page view)
    • added new feature: duplicate widget
    • added is_new option for Threads renderer
    • fixed bug style properties out of order
    • added support for XenForo 1.4.0 new poll system
    • added new renderer Profile Posts
    • fixed bug with 2 instances of Empty renderer on the same page
    • added check to not display redirections in Threads renderer
    • updated Threads renderer for username links to be OverlayTrigger
    • fixed bug with trailing slash after widget-pages link
    • added support for other node types when detecting forum ids
    • fixed bug with Template renderers that a widget can trash the site when no template name is entered
    • improved ProfilePosts renderer to mimic XenForo 1.4.0 RC1
    • merged RecentStatus and ProfilePosts rendering routine

    • fixed bug Profile Posts widget in XenForo 1.4
    • improved installer for XenForo 1.4.0 (new profile posts widget)
    • fixed bug with html widget title in widget list (admincp)
    • added controller support for template renderers

    I notice that the widget version of the profile post block doesn't have the dots to open the profile post in an overlay. Will this be coming in a future update?

      xfrocks @BamaStangGuy The dots should show up if you are running XenForo 1.4. It depends on new feature of XenForo so it cannot be brought back to XenForo 1.3 or earlier.

    Please add support for [BD]Socailize to have facebook and twitter check boxes on the lastest profile post widget.

    Official version with XenForo 1.4 support has been released at xenforo.com, this thread is now closed.
