Assigned WordPress password isn't sync with XenForo

    If I changed password on WordPress it doesn't changed in xenForo, also user can login in WordPress with 2 passwords xenForo password and WordPress password when he change it

    Hello XFrocks,

    I have a developer friend assisting me again with the bridge. We pushed to a testing environment and ran into many issues so we reinstalled the bridge again. Assuming will have to do the same fix again when pushing to our final production environment. Website is near complete so hoping this will be soon. Maybe in the next week or so.

    In any case, we tested the following scenarios on mobile and desktop:

    A. New registration from WordPress, syncs to Xenforo users (mobile / desktop).
    B. New registration from Xenforo, syncs to WordPress users (mobile / desktop).

    Authentication scenarios
    C. Login from WordPress, should also login to Xenforo (mobile / desktop).
    D. Login from Xenforo, should also login to WordPress (mobile / desktop).
    E. Logout from WordPress, should also logout to Xenforo (mobile / desktop).
    F. Logout from Xenforo, should also logout to WordPress (mobile / desktop).

    Password / Account retrieval and update
    G. Lost Password from WordPress, should allow auto response user password change and also update Xenforo (mobile / desktop).
    H. Lost Password from Xenforo, should allow auto response user password change and also update WordPress (mobile / desktop).

    -----

    All have been tested successfuly with the exception of G. - Lost Password from WordPress, should allow auto response user password change and also update Xenforo. This test simply will not work, so assume there might be a configuration problem as I believe this is part of the default plugin functionality?

    Wondering if you have any suggestions?

    Also, just noticed the following warning, but unsure what it means:

    XenForo Admin Account connection is interrupted. Please update bridge options.

    This is true if both WP and XF have a password saved for the user. In WordPress, you can disable the option "Accept XenForo login credentials" if you don't want to accept XF password within WP.

    Did you mean user cannot reset password?

    Yes, function doesn't seem to work. Cannot login from XF when updating password from WP.

    Yes, login to WP works in this scenario. Seems WP new password is not being updated in XF though.

    Thank you for providing the info. We will check on this now, we also have a similar report regarding this. Btw, are you on latest WP version?

    Yes, WP, XF and all plugins and addons are current release.

    Yes, new update should be available today to address this issue.

    You mentioned in your comment of March 30 2017 that there would be an update later that day. Any news?

    We still face the same bug as stated in the start of this thread.
